The Flex-a-lite 104703 Direct-Fit Dual Electric Cooling Fans for your 2001-2005 GM 6.6L Duramax provides you with a high performance bolt-on cooling upgrade for your Duramax powered pickup. By replacing your stock clutch fan assembly with this dual electric fan system, you can increase your fuel economy by up to 6% and recover up to 27 HP! These cooling fans feature two 15-inch S-Blade electric fans and a Flex-a-lite Variable Speed Controller that varies the fan speed from 60-100 percent, depending on radiator temperature. These powerful fans move up to 6,000 CFM of airflow!

i put this kit on when my fan clutch went up. install was about 3 hours. ran good for awhile. after about 2 months i had to replace the controler that flexalite sent me with no problems. i replaced it and it started working fine. and about a week ago my truck overheated. i shut it down and checked it. found that the circut breaker shorted. replaced the circut breaker and now yesterday the hot wire for the fans fried. melted the loom to the wire and i figured the circut breaker would kick but it shorted kept power to the fans. i have no idea what the problem is. but for how many problems im having and what i paid i should have just stayed with the OEM fan clutch

I decided to install when I found my fan breaking and my clutch was going bad. Took 4 hours to remove the old fan clutch do to the last tech using an air hammer to tighten it. After removing was able to install the entire system in less than an hour. Fans work awesome and I can definitely feel a dramatic increase in performance with the switch. The relocation mount for the TCM could have used a better design, but does work how they set it up. Overall, It was a great product and would highly suggest to all.

This is for street use only. This will not work with any heavy towing at all. The job is simple enough, but our customer pulled out at the last moment when their other truck overheated with the same fan in it towing a Tahoe q5. Never had any issues on the street under normal operations.
