These head studs are built for durability and feature higher strength than the factory bolts so that they will not stretch like the originally equipped fasteners. This added strength will help to prevent your engine from experiencing head gasket failures. The Gator Fasteners performance head studs are a heavy-duty design for stock to moderately built engines.

Thread Cleaning Chasers (Sold Separately):
The XDP XD40125TC & XD40128TC are recommended prior to installation of head studs. Thread Cleaning Chasers ensure you have properly cleaned the threads in your engine block before the installation of fasteners. Clean threads provide accurate torque readings during your engine build or head gasket replacement.
