Description
The Hellwig 9703 Big Wig Helper Spring for your 1999-2015 Ford F-250/350 Pickup is rated at 2000 lbs. to provide added support for when heavily loaded or towing a heavy load. The spring was designed around the needs of commercial users who regularly drive their trucks loaded or tow heavy trailers. It will also provide added load support for trucks pulling gooseneck and fifth wheel trailers. Properly supporting the load will improve tire wear, vehicle handling and safety.
The Big Wig Helper Spring works in conjunction with the factory contact overload spring by providing the added spring rate only when needed. When empty, the spring will not affect vehicle ride. Note: Adding any helper spring will not increase the factory GVWR for the vehicle

Easy to install and leveled my truck with a load.

I haul a trailer with my new F250 all day long. I'd used helper springs on my previous truck and thought I'd give them a try on my new F250. It was sagging about 4-5 inches. After install, it's level and rides a lot better with the trailer.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will my ride be affected even without a load or will it be just as it is now? We have a 2004 F-350 dually and we are hauling an 18,000 lb. fifth wheel. I am needing more support but want to keep my factory overloads. I was wondering if these Big Wig Helper things would affect my ride when the load was removed.
Not at all. When empty, the spring will not affect vehicle ride.
