Description
Protect the engine in your vehicle with the Motorcraft VC-13-G Yellow Concentrated Antifreeze/Coolant. This ethylene glycol-based antifreeze/coolant is designed for use in diesel and gasoline engines. With a 50/50 mixture of antifreeze and distilled water, this coolant delivers protection from -34 F to 265 F (- 36.7 C to 129 C). This antifreeze/coolant provides immediate corrosion protection and improved resistance to deposits created by certain chemical reactions.

- Concentrated Formula - Must Be Diluted With Distilled Water
- Meets Or Exceeds The Requirements Of WSS-M97B57-A1 and ASTM D 3306.
Ford Recommended Coolant Maintenance Interval:
Normal 6.7L Engines: Initial change at 72 months, or 105,000 miles (168,000 km); subsequent changes every 45,000 miles.
Special 6.7L Engines: Check every 15,000 miles, or 600 engine hours. Change every 45,000 miles or 1,800 engine hours.
Application Notes:
Add Diesel Supplemental Coolant Additive as necessary.
Special operating conditions include extensive towing, long idle time, extended low speed driving, biodiesel use, and off-road/dusty conditions.
Do not mix different colors or types of antifreeze/coolant in your vehicle unless directed by the vehicle manufacturer to do so. It is important to use the correct antifreeze/coolant.

Used this coolant to replace the Motorcraft Orange Coolant that came with my 2017 Ford Explorer XLT. Was reccomennded to change it out as ASAP since the car has an internal water pump, and the new Yellow coolant that just came out, is much better for the longevity of the pump. Any Ford Vehicle running the Orange Motorcraft coolant should switch over to the new Yellow coolant. Very expensive repair, and I want it the water pump last as soon as possible. (Plus it had been over 5 years, and was time to replace the coolant anyway.)
