    The PPE 114000550 Premium High-Efficiency Oil Filter is a premium grade oil filter that will protect the engine in your 2001-2019 GM 6.6L Duramax. This oil filter offers over double the surface area of a conventional oil filter to keep your engine oil cleaner. The increased surface area is manufactured out of accordion-folded nylon and fiberglass media that can filter down to 5-microns. Most OEM-quality oil filters have a range of 8 to 10-micron range mean this filter can filter particles half the size of the competition. With double the filtration media and twice the filter life of other oil filters, the PPE oil filter is a great choice for your truck.

    Adds an additional qt of oil and seeing much cooler oil temperatures when towing a 10k camper (220 deg @ 70 MPH & 90 OAT). Also, cleaner oil; Still seeing a little gold at 10k miles. (Also have the PPE oil pan, which adds another quart and cooling)
