Description
The PPE 114053100 Raw Heavy-Duty Deep-Capacity Engine Oil Pan will solve the complete oil drainage problem in your 2020-2024 GM 6.6L Duramax L5P. During an oil change, the factory pan holds over half a quart of the filthiest oil that settles to the bottom of the valley of the OEM pan. This old oil is trapped in the valley of the stock pan and can’t drain out meaning it immediately contaminates the new oil. This oil pan solves this issue with an angled, flat bottom to allow for more complete drainage.
The PPE oil pan holds an additional two quarts of oil that will increase the thermal stamina and by extension, the service life of your oil. Engine temperatures are also reduced as this pan is built with thick, cast aluminum alloy that has internal ribs for rigidity and strength. A convenient NPT port has been tapped into the side of the pan if you want to run a temperature sensor. A neodymium magnet-equipped billet stainless steel drain plug comes with this pan to catch ferrous metals out of the oil.
