This is a great addition to my 99 F350 with split buckets up front. I always hated the factory cup holders. They were never solid enough, and when I installed a custom stereo head, they were pretty much useless. This little beauty slips in place with no effort, stays very solid, and holds even the bigger bottles. It's well made, contoured to match the rest of the truck, and well worth the money. This product worked great. I was worried that it would look kind of junky and not fit really well. But, it actually looks like it could be a stock option with the center console and fits absolutely perfect. It holds drinks perfectly. I have used fountain drinks and cans, and it keeps them from spilling with no problem. It is incredibly easy to install. It literally just drops in. I was also worried that it would keep the console door from shutting, but this is not the case. The door closes and locks the exact same with or without it. Some people have suggested using screws to make it more stable, while I think that would make it more stable, it really isn't necessary. I had a 32 oz. drink in the cup holder, lifted up the console door, and the cup holder stayed right in place. A person can sit in the middle seat with the console lifted up and it not be in the way, but I would remove it if someone is going to sit in the middle seat just for safety purposes. The cup holder sits about head high and could be a problem if you were ever rear ended, but it really isn't in the way. A person could sit in the middle seat comfortably with it still installed. I highly recommend this product and is one my best purchases for my truck.
