Description
The PSC SG039 XD Steering Box is an upgrade for the problematic factory unit in your 2001-2007 GM Silverado/Sierra 2500HD/3500HD 4WD Classic Body Style Pickup. The PSC XD Steering Gear features a 45mm sector shaft and bearing to prevent the pitman arm and sector shaft flex that causes the lower seal to fail. Larger teeth and other internal components have been increased in size to handle the loads when increasing tire size on your truck. Fits 4 spline pitman arms only.

Skip redhead, Skip a reman Box, and buy the PCS box. It's heavy duty, it fits perfect, Plug and Play, and it drives amazing. The four-wheel drive works better and it doesn't pull left or right when going over cracks and bumps, it stays straight. Just buy it!

I bought this box for my 09 LMM thinking I could make the box work. Well I guessed correct. I can’t comment for all LMM but this was a direct fit on mine. I will say it’s best to remove the lower steering shaft and open the clamp a bit on a vise prior to install. The input shaft is a tight fit as others noted. Also get a 4 spline pitman. Completely changed the truck. This box is a beast.

Only have had it on for a few days but the difference from stock is amazing and I have no doubts this steering gear will outlast the truck.
