Description
The PSC SG039 XD Steering Box is an upgrade for the problematic factory unit in your 2001-2007 GM Silverado/Sierra 2500HD/3500HD 4WD Classic Body Style Pickup. The PSC XD Steering Gear features a 45mm sector shaft and bearing to prevent the pitman arm and sector shaft flex that causes the lower seal to fail. Larger teeth and other internal components have been increased in size to handle the loads when increasing tire size on your truck. Fits 4 spline pitman arms only.

Order # 1540471 Really happy with the way the psc steering box feels steering is way more precise and definitely helps when towing a trailer. Install was straightforward definitely want a helper for starting bolts. This box is way heavier then the stock. Only issue I had was bleeding the system ended up needed a p/s pump to get all the air out not the boxes fault but something you may need to do. The shipping was great, free delivery, and got it next day. Couldn't be more happy. Will definitely be ordering from xdp more often.

Purchased for my 2006 GMC LBZ rebuild. Used the PSC Idler Assembly and arm with the Steering gear box and pitman arm along with the 1.5" factory style center link and the Cognito brackets. Would definitely purchase over all the others.
