Sun Coast 68RFE/AS69-BFP Billet Flex Plate

The Sun Coast 68RFE/AS69-BFP Billet Flex Plate is an excellent upgrade for the 68RFE or AS69 transmission in your 2007.5-2018 Dodge 6.7L Diesel. This flex plate is a must-have when trying to put power to the ground in your truck. Your diesels' tremendous torque, along with a better-designed torque converter, can transmit torque without slip. A torque converter is attached to the flex plate after the flex plate is connected to the crankshaft. The torque from your diesel engine is passed to the flex plate, through the torque converter, and finally to your transmission’s input shaft. A stock flex plate can shatter and/or rip the center out with higher torque from the engine and no slip out of the converter.

This Sun Coast 68RFE/AS69-BFP Billet Flex Plate is CNC machined from forged steel for strength with reliefs machined out between the converter mounting plate and the crank flange to allow some flex. This billet flex plate has added extra thickness and higher quality material with a better manufacturing process to prevent cracking. This flex plate exceeds all SFI specification 29.3 requirements for materials, mechanical properties, design, and rotational integrity.
