Torque Converters

RevMax offers Stage 3 single-disc billet converters as well as Stage 4 & Stage 5 Mult-disc billet converters that all feature their exclusive torque converter stator sprag retainer.
The Stage 3 torque converters are engineered for those who have lightly modified engines or for those who do not do heavy hauling. These converters are rated to hold up to 350hp or 700 ft-lbs. of torque. The Stage 4 torque converters are multi-disc converters that are nearly as smooth as your factory unit and are designed for those with mildly modified engines. These stage 4 converters are great for most applications but, if you are towing more than 10,000 Lbs. frequently or pushing more than 550 horsepower they recommend upgrading to the stage 5 converter. The Stage 5 torque converters are engineered for those who have seriously modified engines or for those who do heavy hauling. The Stage 5 is a triple disc converter that is nearly as smooth as your original factory single disc unit.
All RevMax torque converters are assembled in Charlotte, NC, and come with a whole host of upgrades and features to ensure you get the highest quality converter. From the CNC-machined billet one-piece front cover to the computer furnace brazed impeller and tig-welded brazed turbine, these converters are packed with features. Raybestos or Alto high-performance frictions and dual Torrington bearing stator design are used for lockup. The billet lockup apply piston with performance spring damper allows the clutch to apply smoother which in turn puts far less strain on the input shaft. The 4140 flanged impeller hub and 4140 hardened turbine hub provide incredible durability. Every converter has precision internal clearances set to increase efficiency and improve performance. These converters are then TCRS computerized high-speed balanced to less than 5 grams and fully pressurized and leak-tested before shipping.
Valve Body
RevMax offers a range of Valve Bodies that will prove clean, quick shifts for your vehicle. RevMax Performance Valve Bodies are built with their state-of-the-art Haas CNC milling machines that eliminate human error commonly found in valve bodies machined by hand. All new O-rings, sealing rings, and gaskets are installed where applicable. Each Valve Body is vacuum leak-tested after cleaning and then tested on a fully computerized dyno. The RevMax ZeroFlex Billet Channel Plate for the 68RFE Transmission is one inch thick and has full-depth worm tracks that eliminate issues common with the factory design.
