The XDP Coolant Filtration system does not require any modification to your factory hoses. Our pre-assembled, high-quality silicone hoses simplify the install and provided a clean finished look without using multiple ugly hose clamps. The included ball valves are extremely helpful for minimizing coolant loss during filter changes and also provide a shut-off to bypass the system should you ever need it. Great product, easy install but, lines a little long

First thing I noticed when I opened the box was the quality was a lot higher than I expected. The install was very easy. The instructions that came in the box wasn't as good as the instructions online. I had to cut the large hose for the heater line down also the hose that goes to the degas bottle. With those hoses trimmed down, it looks a lot better. I'm concerned about the pressed fittings but, time will tell if they hold up. I was hoping that the kit would come with some clamps so I didn't have to use the original ones off the truck but, it didn't. Overall, I'm very pleased with the quality and ease of instillation. I would recommend this to anyone that has a 6.0.

Just installed it to day all went good very easy to install. The only thing I found was the heater valve was resting on the back injector. That was an easy fix
3" from Perfect

Good design, easy fit, easy to install. However some of the lines are too long. I decided to trim some of my stock lines to clean up the install, and everything was great until I got to the line between the filter mount and the T fitting to the degas bottle. That line is about 3" too long, and you can not shorten it because it already has fittings attached. This kit is advertised specifically for 2003-2007 6.0s so there is no reason to leave that kind of slack. Sure part of it is my OCD of wanting a clean engine bay, but now every time I close the hood I have to make sure I'm not going to cut the coolant line with the latch.

Easy install took no more then 20 minutes, can't wait to see the amount of debris in the filter at first change.

Finally decided to install at 101K. Changed filter after 500 miles and it held an incredible amount of sand. Wish I did it much earlier! Definitely worth it!
