The Banks Power 42765 3.5 inch Monster-Ram Intake Manifold from XDP for the 2003-2007 Dodge 5.9L Diesel provides your engine with increased airflow. Maximum power, performance, and efficiency are the ultimate goals, but to make it all happen the engine has to breathe freely and without needless restrictions. Finding ways to pump your engine full of cooler, denser air has always been the key. The Bank High-Ram intakes have always whipped the competition, and now the new 3.5" Monster-Ram flat-out destroys even their own previous designs!
Utilizing the latest in electronic computational fluid-dynamic technology, tested on the flow bench as well as on the dyno, and finally proven in the real world where the rubber meets the road, Monster-Ram is a beast that only Banks could have unleashed. A simple, direct-replacement casting, Monster-Ram is instant power, performance, and acceleration gratification.
The Monster-Ram Intake Manifold raises boost without increasing backpressure at the turbine by improving airflow from the intercooler. It's the perfect upgrade whether you're just starting out or working to build a serious, purpose-built machine. With its six ports for pressure, temp or flow sensors, the sky is the limit for performance expandability. Monster-Ram is CNC port-matched to the stock heater as well as the optional Banks Billet Intake Heater Delete spacer. If you want another half-pound of boost, the Banks Billet Heater Delete is just the ticket. Unlike some setups, when winter comes, you can put the Heater back in.

Good boost to the low end. Running thru the Trinity Alps it pulls the hills much better. A lot less shifting. Down @ 1500 rpm it pulls like a big horse. I'm satisfied. That makes it a good investment in my mind.

You want easy install? This is it! Follow the easy instructions with illustrations. The kit even included it's own thread lock. This big red intake dwarfs the stock one and looks totally awsome every time you pop the hood!

I got mine for Christmas, installed it in about an hour. What an emprovement over stock! I could actually feel my Dodge Ram 2500 pulling harder, making more power. Also improved mpg! Banks power is the way to go!

2006 Dodge Ram 3500 Diesel Installed AFE stage 1 air filter good power improvement plus 1 mpg more, next power increase, added Max energy programmer, #3 setting went from 10.5 mpg to 15 mpghave not taken road trip yet ,then big power came after Banks high-Ram this added the air flow it needed and these three items are minimum for big POWER and even more mpg !

Easy to install but the pictures in the directions are fairly hard to read. I feel an improvement in throttle response and seems to produce a little more power. I don't see any difference in mileage though. This intake is significantly larger than stock.

The Banks Power 42765 Monster-Ram Intake Manifold is designed with a 3" Inlet so it retains the factory intercooler pipe and does not include one in the kit.
The Banks Power 42766 3.5" Monster-Ram Intake Manifold features a 3.5" design with the included 3.5" boost tube to help with additional flow.
BOTH the 42765 and 42766 will re-install to your factory intercooler. The difference between the two is simply the size and included 3.5" boost tube. You will notice great performance from either being installed on your truck. The 3.5" Manifold (42766) can be especially useful to those who are looking for the most flow possible and plan to upgrade their intercooler or turbocharger setup down the road.
