The Banks Power Quick-Turbo Assembly 24457 will help maximize turbocharger boost in your Ford 7.3L Powerstroke. Once you reach a certain level of airflow, the factory turbine housing becomes a restriction. Banks developed the Quick-Turbo alongside Garrett Turbo and Ford/Navistar to eliminate turbo lag out of the hole and create strong acceleration. This Quick-Turbo housing delivers massive torque right from idle, achieves a higher peak boost faster, maintains more boost through the powerband, and doesn't overboost.

The two upgrades would greatly increase your throttle response, boost and overall efficiency of the 7.3L engine.
Are there any other components that should also get an upgrade to help?
We recommend upgrading the wastegate actuator and compressor wheel to get the best performance out of your stock turbo.
Will this housing work with a stock size compressor wheel?
Yes, the Banks Power Quick-Turbo Assembly 24457 is an exhaust housing and would not make a difference on the compressor wheel used beings it’s the opposite side of the turbo.
