Get up to 38% better airflow into your Ford 6.0L Powerstroke when you swap out the stock air filter and housing for the Banks Power Ram-Air Intake System 42155. This air intake system utilizes the factory bellows that allow for engine movement, enhancing durability and reliability. The enclosed housing keeps out hot, power-robbing engine bay air while offering easier access to the filter. The cold air intake system's dome-shaped dry synthetic filter flows more freely than the factory's very dense and restrictive paper filter. The contoured, aerodynamic shape of this filter element removes restrictive sharp bends and chokepoints. This reusable filter is easy to access for visual inspection and cleaning, unlike the factory filter. The dry element filter is unlike the factory filter and is reusable and does not require replacement of the whole unit when dirty. This intake is engineered to work seamlessly with OE sensors and not generate trouble codes.
Features:
- Oiled Air Filter Element
- Helps Engine Run Cooler
- Prevents Component Damage
- Extensively Tested & Validated
- Accommodates Engine Movement
- Outperforms Stock Intake Airflow By 38%
- Giant Filter Maximizes High-Flow Filtration

Installation Tech Tip:
The Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor is mounted in the intake tube on the air intake system. You will need to remove this sensor during the installation of a cold air intake. While replacement of a good working MAF Sensor is not required, it is generally a good practice to inspect, clean, or replace the MAF Sensor during this installation.
