The Banks Power Duramax LMM Single Monster Exhaust System 47784 will enhance the exhaust flow in your 2007.5-2010 GM 6.6L Duramax LMM. The Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) on your Duramax truck captures the soot in the exhaust and cleans this filter through a process called regeneration. While the exhaust is regenerating, the exhaust gas temps can exceed 1000 degrees at the exhaust tip! This Monster Exhaust system is designed for cool temps and dramatically cuts back pressure, too! 

The engineers at Banks Power utilized computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software and then tested the Single Monster Exhaust System on both dyno and on-road. Decreasing backpressure 80% better than stock allows the engine to drive out spent gasses with less effort helping to improve horsepower, lower EGTs, and improve fuel economy. The Monster Exhaust features mandrel-bent constant-diameter tubing and a massive Ob-Round SideKick tip. The tip is the key as its unique shape mixes hot exhaust gas with cool ambient air there by keeping your trailer safe by directing exhaust gasses to the side.
