The Banks Power Six-Gun Diesel Tuner 63767 is calibrated for racing and sport and is a fully engineered diesel tuner for your 2001-2004 GM 6.6L Duramax LB7. With an unmatched combination of power, safety, and versatility, this module delivers pavement-shredding best gains of +128 hp and +345 lb-ft at the rear wheels. The six change-on-the-fly power levels tune pulse width, timing, and fuel pressure and have exclusive AutoRate and ActiveSafety engine and transmission safeguards.
AutoRate is an electronic powertrain management system that automatically adjusts power output to a safe level for prevailing conditions. These include torque converter clutch lockup protection Transmission slip detection Safe-range turbo calibration. Cold engine protection ActiveSafety features ensure that Six-Gun electronics will in no way impact the durability or function of the onboard electronics.

I'm at 410k miles and my LB7 was starting to get lazy, and this tuner woke it right up. I only have mine set on the 2nd position and on position 6 it's kinda scary.

I used to have a mustang gt with a dyno tune on it, and after putting this thing on my LB7, it put my mustang to shame, it will literally pin you to the seat. Provides great fuel milleage on the highway, around 20mpg, and tons more power, it is almost scary how powerful it will make you truck. Well worth the money.

I have a 2004 lb7 duramax. The tuner was easy to install. You can feel the difference on each power level. A great choice for the guy that doesn't like to grenade drive line parts and transmissions and lets the truck run within its means. The one big reason I decided on this tuner is because it has trans back down so you don't toast it. Doesn't put out any more smoke then stock, which is fine by me with the cost of diesel where it is. works great for what I need it to do.

Great tuner, easy to install, great power out put without shedding and busting up the drivetrain and throwing extra fuel out the tailpipe. Really wakes up the truck. Mileage has improved 2mpg. Does everything I need it to do.

The EGT probe is not needed for the installation of the Six-Gun Diesel Tuner & Switch.
