The XDP Fuel Filter Head Spacer Kit XD138 is a quick and inexpensive solution to a common problem for GM Duramax owners. The Fuel Filter Head spacer is designed to address the tight fit of your fuel filter wrench around the fuel filter. The kit allows for an additional 3/8" of clearance allowing you to easily remove and replace your fuel filter.

Comes with the longer bolts needed. Gives the space you need to keep filter off engine block. Easy 5min install, start bolts into assembly and just drop the spacer in and tighten. A+

The XD138 Fuel Filter Head Spacer Kit is designed to allow the filter head to be spaced away from the engine. This makes it easier to get a wrench around the fuel filter. We didn't design this product for use with swapping an earlier model filter head so we have not tested it for that and cannot confirm that application.
