The Aero Exhaust AT4040XL Aero-Turbine Resonated Performance Muffler gives your truck an aggressive, yet more mild tone due to the resonated design. Built for high-output diesel engines, the Aero-Turbine Performance Mufflers feature a patented airfoil technology that increases horsepower, torque, flow and also reduces temperatures. The AT4040XL is the only performance muffler that will give you the performance of a full system at a fraction of the cost.
Most vehicles have extreme restrictions on exhaust airflow, which increases exhaust temperatures and decreases engine longevity. The Aero-Turbine breakthrough, based on thermodynamics and jet engine technology, literally accelerates the flow of exhaust away from the engine increasing performance and engine efficiency. Featuring a T304 stainless steel construction, this resonator has a high-temperature ceramic packing material to help absorb sound waves.

Did exactly what I needed it to do, it quieted down a 4 inch straight pipe. Cummins high idle had a insanely loud high pitch noise before, it is much quieter at both low idle and high idle. Truck will still get loud if you get on it, but quiets down once you ease up on the engine a bit.

Very high quality! Wanted to take the edge off my duramax, definitely improved tone. Believe it or not, actually increased perceived power and bumped up mileage. Engine must like some back pressure. Would buy again for sure.
