The AFE 28-10283 Magnum Shield Pre-Filter helps protect your air filter and extends filter cleaning intervals by removing large particles like twigs and bugs from the air stream before the air filter. This pre-filter is manufactured of a dry weave material that does not attract dirt and cleans with soapy water. An AFE logo is silkscreened on the pre-filter to let everyone know an AFE intake system is powering your rig.

Keeps the big chunks out

After pulling the filter on my momentum HD intake I found a lot of bugs and large peices of debris stuck in the pleats of the media. So far this has done the trick. It fits nice and tight and keeps all but the fine dust off the filter.
