The AFE 46-20049 BladeRunner Hot Side Intercooler Pipe outflows the factory tube in your 2004.5-2010 GM 6.6L Duramax by up to 67% and produced up to 16HP & 49 lb-ft of torque. Constructed of 3" mandrel bent stainless steel for smooth air flow transition and increased power. This tube comes complete with 5-ply heavy duty couplings and constant tension T-bolt clamps for a tight and secure installation.

Ordered this AFE tube to replace the stock pipe. The stock pipe boot at the turbo blew off on my way back from a camping trip and I wanted to replace the boots.To my surprize this replacement pipe did what they clamed it would. It made my truck run better,faster spool and to top it off I saw a two mile per gallon improvement on the highway.

The fit is really tight, but the product quality is really good. Comes with both upper and lower boots and new clamps for the LBZ duramax. Might not notice the gains they claim, but it's a necessary peice among other add ons.

The AFE Intercooler Tube Upgrade is the hot side intercooler tube which comes off the turbo and uses improved couplers combined with stronger clamps to help prevent boot blow off. The installation instructions can be found HERE.
