Been Rocking for Years Now and Love it!

I've had this pan on 2001 7.3 for about 8 years now I Dig it so much that I was on here thinking about buying another one for my New OBS 7.3. So my 2001 weighs 11,500lbs always got her loaded up with gear on 38x15.5r20 tires, shes a big heavy girl and with this pan & my 6.0 Mishimoto Cooler driving around all day my trans chills at 160*, and on a hot day towing may be at most 180*. Quick story I even busted my front driveshaft out 4-wheeling, I kept on the throttle getting over a big obstacle I could hear that driveshaft swinging around like a wrecking ball, it wacked the pan a handful of times, and afterward it just got a couple of little dings on it but it took those hits like a champ and didn't break or leak so I was impressed with the cast aluminum strength.

Product itself is beatifully machined. O-ring shipped with product is twisted and cannot be flattened properly. The M8x1.125 by 20mm screws shipped with the product are too short. We installed all the screws by hand, then started the torque process and the second screw stripped the aluminum transmission housing. WTF isn't this an Engineered solution?? Had to go find longer screws on McMaster Carr and 2 days delay. Hopefully we will not have to helicoil the trans housing to finish the install. It was a mistake to spend this much money for what I thought would be a nice way to increase transmission fluid quantity.
