Get the AFE 54-13018R Pro 5R Stage 2 Si Magnum Force Cold Air Intake System for your RAM equipped with a 6.7L Diesel engine. This intake system is equipped with a massive air filter. This not only looks great under the hood, but delivers more power to your engine and an excellent sound in conjunction with your RAM's turbocharger.
Large Five Layer Performance Air Filter:
This aFe POWER Pro 5R is a pre-oiled, 360-degree radial flow performance air filter built with five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media for maximum performance. This filter provides your engine with the largest amount of high-flowing air, usually resulting in the highest power gains out of all AFE's filter media options. This media is perfect for street and/or track use. This filter has a massive 9" tall design that features a unique inverted top and a 5" flange, making for ample surface area, as well as more flow and longer service intervals when compared to traditional flat top air filters.
Dyno-Tuned Intake Tube:
A heat-resistant roto-molded XPLE polymer intake tube replaces the stock intake tube, increasing direct airflow for maximum performance and durability. Each intake tube is CAD designed per application and provides a perfect fit every time.
Open One-Piece Housing:
The included air filter is surrounded by a one-piece, heat-resistant XLPE polymer housing and delivers an aggressive Air Intake sound. Its innovative design features our patent-pending filter-to-housing interface and an extra opening that captures additional cool air from the front of the vehicle. It incorporates the factory RAM Active Air System with no additional hardware.
Hassle-Free Installation:
The CAD designed air intake system utilizes factory mounting locations, minimizing the use of unnecessary hardware and ensuring a perfect fit every time. Its innovative design makes for a hassle-free, direct bolt-on installation process that requires no cutting or drilling on OEM parts.
Installation Tech Tip:
The Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor is installed in the intake tube of the air intake system. During installation of a cold air intake, the MAF must be removed and transferred over. While replacement of a functioning MAF sensor is not necessary, it is considered a good practice to inspect, clean, or replace the sensor (if needed) whenever it's removed.
