Description
The AFE 49-42016 Large Bore HD 5" DPF-Back Exhaust System is built specially 2007.5-2012 Dodge 6.7L Diesel. This system is constructed from 5" mandrel-bent 409 stainless steel tubing and uses high quality band clamps and OE-style bayonet hangers. This unit uses all factory mounting locations to provide a quick, hassle-free installation. Large Bore-HD exhaust systems are the perfect combination of performance, fit and value.
Simple Installation:
All systems use factory mounting locations providing stability and hassle-free installation.
Leak-Free Seal:
High quality OE-style flange and band clamps are used for a complete 360 degree sealing surface.
OE Fit:
OE-style bayonet hangers are used to maintain a stable pipe location during high vibration and high heat conditions. The bayonet tip holds the hanger bushing in place for an OE-style fit that does not change with time.
Flow and Performance:
This Large Bore-HD exhaust system is constructed of 5" mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing for maximum flow. Smooth transition bends allow for low turbulence, increasing horsepower, torque and lowering EGT's.

Instructions for the exhaust were pretty much no help at all, just shows you how it should look when its done. Good materials and fit well but the clamps they provide dont snug up the pipes enough you have to take the spacers out which was a pain in the ass. Sounds deeper at idle but didnt feel a differance while driving it or notice any improvements in mpg. Makes me wonder if afe has ever tried to put one of these systems on there self!
