This results in additional air/vapor in the fuel system and prevents your engine from performing at its absolute best. In addition, air and vapor can cause galling and pitting of the injector barrel/plunger assembly and also tip erosion. The AirDog removes air in the fuel that could cause permanent damage to your injectors and prevents your engine from performing at the level it should. The AirDog also provides the fuel pressures and flow your diesel engine needs to reach its maximum level of performance.

The AirDog operates by pulling fuel from the fuel tank containing entrained air/vapor, particulate contaminates and unknown quantities of moisture. Fuel passes through the water separator that removes water and large particulate contaminates. Next, the fuel with only entrained air/vapor and tiny particulate contaminates remaining, enters the fuel pump. Under positive pressure flow, the fuel passes through the fuel filter and the remaining particulate contaminates are caught and contained, the entrained air/vapor is also separated and returned to the tank. The clean fuel then flows at the proper pressures up to your engine. Each kit includes plumbing, hardware, wiring harness, mounting bracket, and all components needed for installation.
