The shop used this sensor on a 1995 7.3 powerstroke, seems to work, but the criteria says 1997 to 2003.
The Alliant AP63491 is the Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor for your application. (If it’s working, then it might just be a small difference. But, generally Alliant would not make two different sensors if they were interchangeable.)
