The AMP Research 96152-01A PowerStep Vision Running Boards combine the convenience of a power retracting step with built-in full-length lighting. When used as a regular step, AMP Vision provides effective ground illumination. This lighting can also be customized as accent lighting whenever you prefer through the smartphone application.

Constructed from heavy-duty alloy, the AMP Research PowerStep Vision features anodized cast-aluminum steps and hinges, along with corrosion-resistant stainless steel hinge pins. Both step surfaces are treated with a military-grade PTFE coating, which guards against corrosion and wear.

These running boards make getting in and out of your vehicle simple with their full-length design and oversized 6-inch-wide step surface. They come with integrated LED courtesy lights and offer over a foot of drop from the door sill plate on most vehicles. Whether you have a standard pickup or a lifted truck with oversized tires, the PowerStep Vision running boards make entry into the cab simpler.

Like all products in the AMP Research PowerStep lineup, the Vision integrates into your vehicle's electrical system. It automatically deploys when you or a passenger opens a door and retracts once the door is closed. It also features anti-pinch technology to prevent the step from closing on your foot. Additionally, the Vision running boards offer smartphone integration through the AMP Research Smart Series App. This app allows you to control all lighting functions and take full command of your PowerStep Vision running boards through your smartphone. You can deploy the steps for cleaning or lock them in their retracted position while off-roading on your phone. The app also lets you turn on the lights to illuminate the ground around your vehicle in low light situations.

App Controllable Retracting Step
PowerStep Vision automatically deploys when the door opens and will retract after a 3 second delay once the door closes. The step utilizes a different color light when the steps are deployed and when they are retracted. Additionally, the PowerStep Vision features an app controlled override switch and lighting options for full control from your smartphone.

Lower Deployed Step
AMP Research PowerStep Vision running boards drop much lower than other steps. Most stationary running boards rest 1-2 inches below the body and are often still too far from the ground to be convenient for many passengers.

Maximum Ground Clearance
The PowerStep Vision running boards tuck under the vehicle when retracted, providing amazing ground clearance while driving, and the functionality of a perfectly placed step when deployed.

Wide Step Surface
The board width is a massive 6 inches and perfect for any type of footwear.

Classic Integrated Led Lighting
Aside from the PowerStep Vision's flagship lighting, all PowerStep sets include two pair of LED lights per side to illuminate the running board and ground below to maximize safety when entering and exiting your vehicle. The step lighting will activate when the running boards deploy and will shut off when the steps are retracted.

600 Pound Load Capacity
From the brackets to the boards, each PowerStep Vision running board features a 600 pound load capacity, which is twice the weight capacity as most other steps.
