The CNC machined housing is carefully designed by Apex to ensure dimensional perfection of their parts and bearings, eliminating any die wear issues. Apex Chassis uses SAE 4140 Hot Forged Chromoly Ball Studs to provide the strongest and most precise metallurgy possible. The ball studs are induction heat treated to achieve a very precise heat treatment to the exact depth and location they want it.

Apex rolls the threads by pressing the shape of the threads into the ball stud instead of cutting. This method strengthens the threads instead of weakening them and allows for easy movement of hardware. The step threads enable easy movement of hardware during installation and provide superior holding when torqued, making them a preferred choice for installers. Each track bar features a rugged metal-to-metal bearing and CR rubber boots, which provide the most durable material for undercar applications. They are resistant to deterioration from road-level ozone, oil/gas/engine fluids, and extreme heat or cold.
