Description
The ARP 247-4207 Diesel Custom Age 625+ Head Stud Kit is one of the strongest head stud kits available for your 3.9L 4BT Diesel powered hot rod. These studs are designed to handle huge amounts of boost or nitrous to make the most power out of your engine. This stud kit features studs that are rated to handle 260,000 psi tensile strength with broached ends for effortless installation. The threads on the studs have been rolled after heat treatment to offer superior fatigue strength and centerless ground to ensure concentricity. Also included in this American-made kit are 12-point chrome-moly nuts with parallel ground washers and assembly lubricant to ensure you have everything you need for installation.

XDP Thread Cleaning Chasers (Sold Separately):
The
XDP Thread Cleaning Chasers XD40125TC (For Head Studs) & XD40128TC
(For Rocker Arm Pedestal Bolts) are an excellent add-on that should be
used prior to installation of this kit. Using Thread Cleaning Chasers
ensures that you are able to properly clean the threads in your engine
block before the installation and torquing of the head studs. Clean
threads will provide you with accurate torque readings which are
critical during your head gasket repair, or engine build.
