Description
XDP carries the ATS 3039102380 Billet Channel Plate Valve Body that will improve the shift quality of the 68RFE in your diesel. Excessive heat in the transmission might damage the valve body's thin factory cast channel plate, resulting in cross leaks and poor shifting. ATS designed the BilletProof Channel Plate with a stress relieved 1" thick aluminum tooling plate to avoid this problem. This plate is CNC machined to incorporate all valve body vent holes, channels, and includes pressure testing ports that are labeled. The critical channels have been considerably expanded more fluid to reach the clutch packs and reduce the time it takes to fill them. A crisp, smooth, strong shift quality will be noticed immediately after installation, and any cross leak issues will be resolved.
