Prevent clutch failure on your 1996-2007 Dodge 5.9L Diesel 47RE/48RE with the ATS 3140082104 47/48RE Billet Direct Piston (Internal To 3rd Clutch Drum). The OE cast clutch pistons are prone to cracking and breaking which results in direct clutch failure. The Billet Direct Piston from ATS is constructed from billet aluminum and specially designed to protect against failure. This billet direct piston is internal to the 3rd clutch drum.
