The ATS 6019002464 Co-Pilot Tow Edition Transmission Controller Kit will improve the performance of the 68RFE in your 2019-2022 Dodge 6.7L Diesel. The insufficient clutch packs, flimsy hard parts, frequently slipping torque converter lock-up, and inadequate line pressure of the 68RFE are all addressed by the Co-Pilot.
The controller, harness, and auxiliary electronics box are all included in the Co-Pilot Controller Kit. The harness links to the primary transmission connector on the valve body and is entirely plug-and-play for simple installation. The cab-mounted controller allows the driver to view the engine load, line pressure, and other important transmission and engine inputs. The many sensor inputs can be easily viewed by pressing the up or down arrows. Whether the vehicle is moving or stopped, these adjustments can be made on-the-fly. The secondary electronics box can be mounted to the frame on the driver's side without any cutting or fitting being required.

Due to the way the factory TCM is designed, Co-Pilot programming on 2013 and newer vehicles has a significant advantage over TCM programming. On trucks manufactured in 2013 and later, the higher line pressure adjustments to the valve body result in a radical pressure variation that spikes line pressure and causes problems. TCM tuning is therefore less desired on these newer trucks, as a result. The tuners do not allow for full increases in line pressure when TCM tuning is applied. The dynamic closed-loop control of the ATS Co-Pilot uses an averaging circuit to solve this and gives a very smooth and predictable line pressure rise up to 270 PSI.
The Co-Pilot's clutch timing program is essential to maintaining the life of the clutch pack. Clutch timing is adjusted on every 68-RFE transmission to improve reliability, decrease clutch pack wear, and transfer power more effectively. There is much room for improvement in the stock 68-RFE torque converter lock-up. Light throttle will force the factory TCM to order lock-up at a very low speed, which results in a sluggish state, low boost, and poor maneuverability. When applying power, the ATS 68RFE Co-Pilot will more securely lock the converter clutch, allowing the engine's inherent torque to be utilized for greater effectiveness and performance.
Features:
- 3 Setting To Choose From
- Increases Line Pressure To 270 PSI
- Automatically Adjusts Line Pressure
Co-Pilot Modes:
Setting 1 - This mode shows you TPS position. No lights = 0% and 5 lights = 100%
Setting 2 - This mode shows you what the boost sensor sees. No Lights = 0 PSI boost and 5 lights = 40 PSI boost
Setting 3 - This mode shows you the actual transmission line pressure. No lights = 100 PSI line pressure and 5 lights = 260 PSI line pressure.
