The ATS 6019304308 TCM Relocation Kit can help prevent TCM from being ruined by excessive heat in your 2006-2007 GM 6.6L Duramax LBZ. Owners of GM Duramax pickup trucks are very familiar with the prevalent issue of Transmission Control Module (TCM) failure. The high heat generated by their radiator mounting location is a common cause of TCM failure, especially with the A40 and A50 models. When internal components of your truck's TCM are exposed to such high heat, they may melt and become unusable. Overall the product works as advertised after contacting ATS Diesel. I was about to get an RMA to return this set up because it would not connect to my truck factory harness, 2006 LBZ Duramax. The pigtail would stop after it reached about 1/8" after insertion. I even removed the factory harness red contact/pin locking mechanism but it still would not fully seat and make a good connection, my truck freaked out, that's how I know it was not a good connection, lol. After contacting ATS Diesel they were going to send me a new harness thinking it was a faulty plug, (3d printed), and included with the email confirmation on warranty jazz, they sent me the instructions for installing the relocation kit. Low and behold there was the issue, I needed to modify the factory connector red contact/pin lock a particular way and it worked as advertised. Long Story short, get the instructions and follow them, it worked.
