The gauge requires #4 braided hose and mounting cup. (Must be mounted outside vehicle.)
Why is this required to be mounted "outside" the vehicle? I'm guessing they mean under the hood?

The AUTO METER 4312 ULTRA-LITE FUEL PRESSURE GAUGE is required to be mounted outside the vehicle because this gauge is fully mechanical and fuel is brought right up to the gauge it self.
