The Auto Meter 9112 Diesel Tach RPM Signal Adapter allows you monitor engine RPM with Auto Meter Tachometers on your diesel engine. Until now, there has never been an easy way to install an aftermarket tachometer on diesel applications. The Diesel Tach Adapter is the solution to your problem of not being able to show an accurate and reliable measurement of engine RPMs on your diesel powered vehicle. This innovative device isn't limited to just diesel applications though, it's an ideal solution for any vehicle equipped with an alternator that needs an accurate tach signal.

The Diesel Tach Adapter utilizes a small pick up probe that is strapped to the outside of the vehicle's alternator and inductively reads its rotation. With a simple one-touch calibration method and warranty friendly installation process, the Diesel Tach Adapter is a smart solution for your truck, car or anything using an alternator.
