Description
XDP has the Banks Power 4" Cat-Back Single Monster Exhaust System you need to replace the rotted exhaust system on your 2004.5-2007 Dodge 5.9L Diesel. This exhaust system flows up to 122 percent better than the factory exhaust and virtually eliminates back pressure. Banks 4” intermediate pipes, and tailpipe are manufactured from stainless steel, heavy-wall tubing with constant-diameter bends to maximize airflow and lower exhaust gas temps.
This system replaces the factory's restrictive muffler with a polished-stainless Monster muffler featuring a straight-through 4-inch diameter path that flows up to 129 percent better than the OE unit. The expansion chamber in this muffler dissipates the annoying mid-range exhaust drone that accompanies most straight-through mufflers. This muffler utilizes spun ceramic, very-high-temperature packing, and delivers an authoritative, but never intrusive exhaust sound. And the 5-inch polished rolled-edge tip has an adjustable clamp for positioning on the tailpipe. To help keep it looking good, there's a 1/2” air gap to keep heat from tarnishing the finish.

I've finally got the first round of upgrades installed on my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Mega Cab Laramie (5.9 Cummins, 4x4, 48RE automatic transmission, 3.73 gears). I went with the Banks Ram-Air Intake System, Banks Single Monster Exhaust System, Bully Dog Triple Dog Power Pup Downloader & Outlook Monitor, Bully Dog Outlook Pillar Pod and CFM+ Carbon Fiber Appearance Intake Manifold.The power is unbelievable and mileage is up to 24-to-25 MPG unloaded at highway speeds on the Tow/Economy setting. I'll have to upgrade my transmission next so I can run the Performance and Extreme settings without worrying about causing permanent damage. XDP was great to work with and I'll definitely be coming back to them for the other upgrades I want to do to my truck. Thanks XDP!

Very happy w/ system. Easy to install. Looks good. Increased low-end power/torque and could really feel the better throttle response. Trip computer shows 1mpg increase.

I have an 04.5 dodge 4WD with banks six-gun w/speed loader, banks cold air intake, and AFE intake manifold. The only difference in my exhaust is that I got rid of the cat and my truck roars now. At cruising it has a deeper tone and is never too loud in the cab, but outside it's loud. Every tunnel I go threw I roll all the windows down, put the chip on 6 and floor it. In my opinion it's the perfect exhaust tone, loud when you get on it, but quiet enough for cruising. My dad has a ford with the 6.0 and the same mods I have and when we raced down an onramp I was on his right side and all he could hear was my truck. Which is funny because my exhaust exits out the right side of my truck and he was on the left side of my truck. Sounds great
