I installed this intake couple of months ago and it has done everything I expected out of it. The install was easy and everything fit like it was suppose to. I had only chopped my cat and muffler out of my truck and was looking for better mileage with a little more power. With this intake I am now averaging 17 which isn't bad. Took all the smoke out of my 7.3 and gave me a little more power pulling my stock trailer. Over all I am extremely happy with this intake and recommend it to all 7.3 owners.

Air filer does pop off and found to just leave the lid off... NOT ENOUGH AIR FOR BIGGER TURBOS!!!!! Restrictive for Aftermarket performance!! I do like the solid mounting box and battery tray and looks clean!!!

Is this intake loud in the cab? I have a k&n cold air kit and it resonates loud in cab towing on interstate.

The Banks Power Ram-Air Intake System 42210 tends to be quieter because of the fact it has the cover over the filter. This cover resonates some of the audible turbo noise you would often get from a non-covered intake.
