It includes mandrel-bent 3.5 high-flow boost tubes large, high-efficiency all-aluminum end tanks a wide-open inlet and outlet a 20% thicker core area with a 27% improvement in volume and a colossal super-flow High-Ram intake manifold.
Techni-Cooler dramatically increases the cooling capacity by balancing the richer fuel mixture with greater airflow and cooler, denser air. I really like the whole package from Banks, good fit and finish, and was fairly easy to install. After a few tanks of fuel I think my MPG has increased or at least is more stable with mixed driving, highway/city/offroad. My EGT's are 50-150 lower, more boost at all RPM's, and seems to spool quicker. My one complaint is with an aftermarket A/C condenser in my truck I had to fab a way to attach 3 of 4 attachment points as they are moved with the Banks intercooler thus. I also was able to get a great deal on this from XDP doing the $5 price beat so customer service was excellent.

Painless install, EGTs dropped 150 degrees, turbo spool is much faster now. Great addition to any diesel truck.

I have a Snow MPG Max Water/Methanol Injection on my 5.9 Cummins. Will i have to replace that boot or tap the manifold?

The Banks Power Techni-Cooler Intercooler comes with a pre tapped manifold. This is where we’d suggest installation of the water methanol when installing this kit.
