Cold Cranking Amps

What are Cold Cranking Amps (CCA)?
Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) is a measurement used to indicate a battery's ability to start or "turn-over" an engine in cold temperatures.

Why is CCA important?
In cold temperatures, engine oil thickens, making it harder for the engine to turn over. CCA provides a standardized measure of the battery's ability to perform under these conditions.
