BD-Power 1060605 Valve Body Electronics Upgrade Kit

Easy install, quick swap in my 04.5 48re. Be sure to get the solenoid seated all the way; it is possible to not go far enough and still install it in the wrong slot, it's obvious when you look at it. Also realize the electrical plug gets flipped over from original and installed with the small clip facing the VB; those are about the only things that could be messed up during install. You have to bend some tabs on the plate that holds it down, or cut them off it you want, just fyi. When I did this kit I also adjusted the rear band, installed a billet accumulator/band strut/anchor, did a filter and full exchange of fluid(4ish gallons of new Amsoil atf), and threw on a deeper pan. I've had a shift kit in this truck already for the last decade or so; probably the only reason my trans is still alive with my tune, compound turbos, and 37's! I was way past due for a filter/fluid change but I was putting all that off until I had time to do these other upgrades so I wouldn't waste a bunch of fluid; in hindsight I shouldn't have waited so long, hopefully my pump isn't too warn when I do rebuild it this winter. It's definitely back to how it should be, but I can't really say that any one item contributed to that more than another. I should have done the front billet servo and rear billet servo cover while I was in there but didn't want to wait any longer, I'll do them when I upgrade it to billet input and triple disk, it was already whining at me when cold. Shifts are quicker and firmer with all that done.
