Description
Get next level performance in your 2011-2016 Ford F-250/350 6.7L Powerstroke 4WD with a BDS Suspension BDS1500FPE 8" Coilover 4-Link Performance Elite Lift Kit from XDP. This kit is designed to improve performance and capability offroad while retaining great on-road handling. This kit builds on the standard BDS 4-link design to convert the front springs over to FOX 2.5 Performance Elite (PE) coilovers. These aluminum bodied coilovers offer improved damper performance, better heat dispersion and easy tuning via the DSC (dual speed compression) adjusters located on the reservoir allowing you to dial in the high-speed and low-speed compression settings. These coilovers come pre-tuned and fully assembled to easy installation with the provided bolt-on coilover mounting brackets.
The foundation for this kit is the tried-and-true BDS 4-link conversion utilizing high strength tubular control arms and .25" steel brackets to correct positioning of the front axle, add strength, and improve caster control. The kit also includes steering correction with a forged drop pitman arm along with an HD track bar bracket. Sway bar and brake line relocation brackets are utilized along with bump stop extensions. This kit uses GlideRide rear leaf springs to lift and level out the stance in the rear. BDS designs this kit as a complete solution to transform your Super Duty to tame the any terrain. As with all BDS kits, these include Factory Protection Plus offering you a 5yr/60k-mile drivetrain warranty and no fine print warranty on the kit itself. KIT NOTES:
Front bumper spacer kit may be required to run 38"x15.50" tires.
Although extremely rare, front driveline vibration may occur.
If equipped with a 2-piece rear driveshaft, BDS Carrier Bearing Drop Kit may be required (part # 123406).
Front driveshaft u-joints may max out at full droop. If so, a new front shaft will be required.
If equipped with a rear sway bar, BDS end link kit (part # 123009) is required.
U-bolts will not work on dually trucks.
If your truck is equipped with a 3-1/2" rear block from the factory, (4) UBT4234 are required.
BDS leaf springs are not intended for use beyond the truck's maximum payload capacity. Trucks equipped with overload springs will only have the capacity of a non-overload equipped truck. If heavy payload use is desired, supplemental rear air bags are recommended.
