The Borgeson 000954 Steering Shaft is a direct-fit replacement for the steering shaft in your Dodge Ram 2500/3500. This heavy-duty telescoping steering shaft connects the steering column to the steering box and is constructed with a billet steel universal joint for durability. The vibration reducing universal joint will create a more comfortable ride and minimize driver fatigue.

Waste of time.

Just as others stated. 5 months after purchase im getting popping noise. I replaced box, steering assembly, trac bar. IT WAS THE BORG SHAFT. So mad. I never would have guessed that. Now lets see what warranty does.

Don’t waste your money. Installed on my 2011 Ram. Within 2 or 3 months of installation it already has play and can feel it pop and feel the slop in the steering wheel. If you put your hand on the shaft and have someone turn the wheel you can feel the looseness and slop at the lower U-joint. Very disappointing.

Did not fit over the steering wheel side of the slip shaft. Once I stretched that out and air hammered it on because it still didn’t fit, one of the set screws hit the frame so I couldn’t steer more than 3/4 of a turn.
