The Borgeson 000954 Steering Shaft is a direct-fit replacement for the steering shaft in your Dodge Ram 2500/3500. This heavy-duty telescoping steering shaft connects the steering column to the steering box and is constructed with a billet steel universal joint for durability. The vibration reducing universal joint will create a more comfortable ride and minimize driver fatigue.

Good product but missing a key detail

The steering shaft is good and works as intended on my 2028 ram 3500 with one minor issue. The firewall boot can’t completely seal due to the shaft having flat sides. I can hear a slight bit more engine noise due to the gaps left by the flat sided shaft not sealing in the round boot seals.

Initially I wrote a 1 star review because of how quickly the steering shaft developed major slop. I was extremely disappointed as I purchased it to get rid of slop. I reached out to borgeson and they sent me two new u joints to replace both on the steering shaft. Unfortunate that I had to do this and that the product failed so quickly (within less than 2k miles) but I will commend them in doing the right thing and helping me get what I needed to make it right free of charge. Great customer service, maybe I got a shaft built on friday afternoon. But anyways, it is good now and we will see how long it lasts.
