The Borgeson 000981 Steering Shaft for your 1994-1996 Ford F250/F350 features a heavy-duty telescopic design that connects from the factory column to the steering box. Includes one billet universal joint and vibration reducer universal joint. A Borgeson heavy-duty truck assembly will fix that loose, wandering steering for good.

Borgeson steering shaft

Quality shaft. Much beefier than the old one. Worth the cost in my opinion. I did have to shorten the overall length by 6 inches, though. It would fit as is, but leaves very little room for the shaft to collapse in the event of a head-on collision. Not sure if this is a design flaw or what, but not a fan of the overall length. 5 stars for XDP.

Awesome product but a pain to aligned and installed. Definitely needed a second hand but made do by myself.

The set screw fastening system on the u-joints is dumb and the instructions don't adequately describe how to extend y
the steering shaft, but it's a well-made, STURDY product that totally stiffened up my truck's loose steering. Would recommend.
