Description

The Bostech DEC021616 High-Pressure Oil Rail Ball Tubes (Set of 8) connects the fuel injectors to the high pressure oil rails in your Ford Powerstroke. Also included in this kit is an oil rail ball tube installation tool. This tool is needed to install the ball tubes and works as an alignment tool. Leaking O-ring seals in the oil pressure manifold will allow high pressure oil to blow by the base of the ball tube that connects to the injector. Oil traveling into the opening of the connection will blast away at the injector seal until it eventually fails. Eventually the seals can begin to leak which can cause hard start or no start conditions. All Bostech products are designed to maintain or exceed OE specs.

The socket tool didn’t fit over the new nipples without some force. I had to use a hammer to get it to slip over and tighten them down. Almost felt counterproductive but the truck is up and running smoothly now.
