Bullet Proof Diesel 90201157 Heavy-Duty Oil Cooler Upgrade & Gaskets

2015 6.7 powerstroke. To be fair. I think my old cooler was plugged or something and not at peak performance to start with. But my temps pulling my work trailer on the highway 75mph went from peaking around 240 to running around 200 typically. I also have the SPE low temp thermostat. But it runs much cooler. Also the install was fairly easy. I watched a couple YouTube videos and attempted clamping off the coolant lines with vice grips rather than draining the system. Well that didn’t work and I had to drain the system anyway. But that was the only issue. Just make sure you have an extra 5 gallon bucket to catch the coolant if you choose to attempt clamping the lines rather than draining. These trucks hold a lot of coolant.

Cooler fit perfectly. While installing I did a complete coolant exchange, I even removed both radiators to flush the coils. I also installed a +2 quart oil pan from XDP. My local towing oil temps used to be 206 to 230 depending on the time of year. Today it was 90° my oil temps never went over 198. I'm definitely impressed! Thanks XDP.

Really helped my temps. Was a bit larger than stock cooler. Happy as can be so far. Highly recommend.

Got 130k on the clock and couldn't pull heavy load without hitting 40+ degree differential oil-water temp. Installed and doesnt get over 230 oil temp and less than 20 diff temp. Very satisfied with results!!
