Description
The Bullet Proof Diesel 90409000 Oil Cooler System (Air-Cooled Supplemental Kit) is a front mount oil cooler that will help to improve the oil cooling in your Ford 6.4L Powerstroke. This oil cooler is a remote mount air-to-oil cooler that installs up-front in the grille to serve as secondary engine oil cooler. This supplementary oil cooler can be used to help the existing stock oil cooler that doesn't work as well as it used to. It can also be used in conjunction with a new oil cooler to help keep your oil cool in extreme conditions.
This Oil Cooler System replaces the factory oil filter with a remote-mounted spin-on oil filter. This eliminates the aggravation of broken engine oil bypass valves or oil-filter-to-crankcase drain valves.

Haven't installed it yet , but everything seems like good quality. As it should be for the money. Directions seem straightforward and accurate. I read somewhere that you have to pull a fuel line and the directions suck. It does it seem to be the case, but we will see when I get into it.

The kit was all there parts, packing, quality....the instructions are for the shop though. Tools needed that most don't have like a Fuel line tool. If you have a mishimoto or a aftermarket intercooler, add two screws to bottom of bracket ...otherwise I am vary satisfied with kit, works as should.

After oil temp problems over and over we changed the oil cooler and still had issues until...half system is the saving grace. Oil temp is back in range and power is restored. Don't second guess your choice of this product it's well made,well packaged and IT WORKS.
