Description
The Cummins 3408345 Genuine Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor is an OE replacement for the failed sensor on your engine. The IAT sensor measures the ambient air temperature in the intake. This information is relayed to the ECM (Engine Control Module) and used to calculate the injection timing, etc. A faulty intake air temp sensor can result in hard starts, rough idle, reduced fuel economy, poor acceleration, along with a check engine light (CEL).
