Description
The Cummins 3971106 Genuine Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor will replace the malfunctioning sensor in your 3rd gen Dodge with 5.9L Diesel Engine. The MAP Sensor monitors the amount of boost pressure inside the intake manifold and adjusts the amount of fuel being delivered based on the reading. The failure of this sensor can cause poor can cause a poor running engine that will affect drivability. This sensor will drop right into place and help restore the correct air/fuel ration in your truck.

Tried to cheap out and go with cheap MAP sensor. It said Cummins on the box but sensor didn’t have any parts number on it. Was $28 but a complete waste of time and money. Ordered genuine Cummins part from these guys and instantly fixed my over boost/derate issue. It wasn’t cheap ($108) but one Hell of a value over going to stealership. Would gladly order from these guys again.
