Description
The Cummins 4921505 Genuine MAP Sensor is an OE replacement for the failed sensor on your Dodge Ram 5.9 diesel. The MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor is designed to read the air density and relay this information to the Engine Control Module (ECM). The ECM sees how much air is getting to the cylinders and uses this info to adjust the air/fuel ratio. Common symptoms of a faulty MAP sensor include loss of power, reduced fuel economy, black smoke, as well as a check engine light.
